Parenting UK, the Family and Parenting Institute and Kings College London set up the National Academy for Parenting Practitioners, launched November 2007. 

Our aim is to promote best practice in all parenting services.

To do this we:

• developed the National Occupational Standards for Work with Parents
• support and share good practice wherever it is found
• keep members informed about new developments in the field and provide them with opportunities to network
• engage with and inform policy makers
